LET'S MAKE A CHANGE TOGETHER
FrontSight was established in 2008 as a small ministry. In 2014, it moved into its current location, as an independent entity. FrontSight is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization operated entirely by veterans who share and understand the needs and struggles faced by veterans.
We at FrontSight build the bond, brotherhood, and camaraderie we know is vital to creating thriving lives for veterans and their families.
Because the need is so great, we rely on a small band of volunteers. Some of these volunteers are veterans, but most are spouses and family members of veterans who love and support our cause. With the constant support of donors, our doors continue to remain open.
But we cannot do it all alone. The fight is hard but we press on daily to help bring our veterans to this safe place we have created.
Because many veterans face the fear of not only going to combat but also the fear of coming home. For many it’s the loss of the brotherhood, camaraderie and sense of belonging. The feeling of not being part of a unit and not being able to adapt to life after the military is difficult, demanding and dangerous. Often these issues lead to depression, isolation, anxiety, anger and possibly suicide. It’s reported that 8000 veterans commit suicide every year across the country. This number does not sit well with FrontSight.
To provide a Christ-centered community where veterans & their families can find camaraderie, trust, and healing for their visible and invisible wounds.
To empower every veteran who comes to FrontSight with tools, resources, and a sense of self worth and belonging.
Over 20 Veterans commit suicide everyday, this totals a staggering 7,000+ Veteran deaths per year. At FrontSight we build the bond, brotherhood and camaraderie we know is vital to creating thriving lives for veterans and their families. Every dollar you donate can make a difference in a Veteran’s life and their families.*
